We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people who relish a challenge whatever the weather!
As our Ad Bike representative, your role will be to cycle round towns and cities across the UK promoting our clients recruitment campaign.

The ad bike will boast a small company branded advertising trailer, allowing the public to see who are recruiting. One hour you may be cycling round town the next you may be in a park, this is an exciting role where every day is guaranteed to be different.
As well as riding the bike, you will be required to stop in areas of high footfall for maximum exposure (depending on the campaign, a flyer give-away may also form part of your role).

This unique role is a fantastic opportunity for people who prefer to work in the outdoors, it is also a great way of keeping fit!

You will ideally own a bicycle in good working order.

So there’s never been a more exciting time to join us. And delivering honest, friendly advice we’re famous for, you’ll be part of one of the most important teams in the business.

You’re the main point of contact for our customers. So as well as having an interest in mobiles and all the technology that goes with them, you’ll need to be good on the phone. That means combining a polite manner with razor-sharp efficiency – striking up a rapport with each caller as you solve a variety of queries and advise them on everything from GPRS to video messaging, apps to Wi-Fi.

Along with great communication skills and a commitment to putting the customer first, you’ll need expert call handling skills, a tenacious personality and the ability to work as part of a high performing team. If you have previous experience in a contact centre environment, that’s all the better. But as long as you’re quick to learn the ropes and can meet our high standards, we’ll give you handy bonuses and benefits to reward your talents.

Some things are just too good to miss. A bit like outstanding jobs with uncapped earning potential. And that’s exactly what we’re offering talented sales people in our contact centres in the North East.

Right now, we’ve got a range of sales roles for people with a firm focus on hitting challenging targets. But while we want you to be driven by boosting your figures, making the most of that uncapped commission doesn’t mean letting customer service slide. We’ll still expect you to strike up a rapport with each caller as you match them to the right product.

So your commitment to putting the customer first is just as important as your unprecedented flair for sales. That said, a track record of meeting (and exceeding) targets in a challenging environment is a must. As are expert call handling skills, a tenacious personality and an ability to work as part of a diverse, high-performing team.

Our client is looking for 3 full-time business to business telesales account managers with salary starting from £18,000. They are looking for you to start on March 26th, 2012.

ABOUT THEM

They are a start-to-finish marketing agency based in Pink Lane, Newcastle. There are currently 30 representatives although they have ambitious expansion plans which means they hope there will be double that at the start of 2013. They are looking for people who can bring the sales in to the business but also push it forward by becoming the next team managers.

They have over 13,000 customers, are members of the Direct Marketing Association and are ISO9001:2008 accredited. They'll be going for their Investors In People award during 2012.

They are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from everyone qualified.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES

Advertising and marketing is a competitive world. They try everything they can to stand out to make life easier for their telesales staff and easier for their customers.

The main thing that makes them stand out is you.

Phoning initially potential new customers, your job is to make around 120 calls a day to business owners to present their products. Their products tend to be sold on the second or third call, so they'll encourage you to build a pipeline of 6-8 definite decisions a day to come in to.

You've got a natural instinct for sales and you can source leads from anywhere you want - they'll even buy in high-quality calling and email lists for you to prospect from.

Within three months, you'll be able to build your own products to offer to market. Do well enough and you'll be strongly considered for your own team when the next expansion takes place.

The working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with 28 days' holiday per year (including Bank Holidays).

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You ideally need to have previous experience in outbound business-to-business telesales. It is a big advantage if you have experience in making deals with customers over the phone.

You need to be professional, punctual, hate taking days off and be committed to changing the marketing industry for the better (that will come after a few weeks with them when you find out how they differ from their competition).

The typical background of their candidates is advertising sales (on-the-page, loose data and web-based), utility brokering and software sales. You'll not be afraid to put great deals for customers together on the phone and ask them for the order.

WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY? IN SHORT

They expanded from 2 part-time members of staff to 30 full-time members of staff in just 27 months. The directors and senior managers are determined to make the company one of the UK's largest in the next 3 years. They are passionate about what they do and passionate about success and they need likeminded people to get them all there.

They want the next 3-5 years of their professional lives (and perhaps yours) to be the most exciting, interesting and memorable possible.
