This is to successfully support and deliver design activity on budget, to specification and compliant, ensuring the processes and experience are in line with the department and mfinisterial requirements. Main Duties You will be required to work closely with colleagues across the UI team to develop usability testing. You are to ensure that products are developed and tested in advance of the model office test to ensure that they are fit for purpose. You will be in charge of development of plans to ensure that components identified for testing are delivered on time and to the required standard. You will be required to agree test schedules, to ensure that the full range of product can be tested to meet the ongoing needs of model office. You will also work closely with usability testing provider, providing support where necessary, and attending usability testing sessions to observe claimant reactions and provide feedback to colleagues across the programme. You will analyse test findings and support claimant testing manager in assessing implications of outcomes. You will be able to identify and log issues that arise from testing and through liaison with colleagues and stakeholders help ensure that these are resolved satisfactory. You will also identify and support development of accessibility solutions that meet claimant experience expectations. Skills and Experienced Required Experience of negotiating with and coordinating a wide range of internal stakeholders Experience of customer/claimant testing Experience in designing and delivering change in a high profile, complex and fast moving business environment - and / or Understanding of project management tools and techniques Knowledge or experience of Agile ways of working Experience in providing input into agent scripts, telephony messaging and test message content and quality assure related products. Electronics Engineer We are currently seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a company in the design and manufacture of scientific equipment. The main duties of the role will be to join the existing product development team in the design and development of new and existing electronic hardware and embedded software. The role will involve taking these projects right through from initial concept through to production, liaising with the necessary manufacturing personnel and outside suppliers. Candidates will be expected to aid the customer support team to investigate equipment issues and to suggest and instrument the required product development changes. As the companys products are innovative and high-tech, the candidate will be expected to be constantly redesigning their existing catalogue to counter issues of obsolescence. The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Electronic Engineering, preferably with a 1st or 2:1, and will have worked for over 3 years in a similar electronics design position. Applicants should have good experience of electronic hardware and embedded software design and should have a strong knowledge of microcontroller and transducer interface hardware while prior experience of working on instrumentation and with low level USB communications would be an advantage. Matchtech are looking for a qualified training officer to join an expanding engineering company in the North East The ideal candidate will be an experienced trainer and qualified site safety passport and SMTD programme tutor (NEBOSH Gen Cert required). Ideally with ITSSAR Accreditation and experience in delivering the following training, in order of priority: -Overhead/ Jetty/ Tower crane with slinger signaller -MEWP instructor (scissor and boom) -Aluminium Towers -Abrasive wheels -Working at Height -Confined space -Harness safety Candidates must have excellent presentation, communication skills, able to prioritise, flexible attitude to working patterns in order to meet business requirements. Some night shifts may be required on an occasional basis (1 or 2 per month). Excellent PC and training media skills are expected. Trainers are required to work at height and in confined spaces, with physical exertion also being a requirement. Training will be provided for the right candidate and an offer of permanent employment may be made.
