This established commercial law firm based in Newcastle city centre requires a full-time secretary/receptionist to join their growing team. You will provide secretarial support to their Commercial Department as well as being that all important first point of contact for calls & visitors to the firm. Key responsibilities - Providing a friendly & efficient first point of contact for callers & visitors. - Production of letters and documents using audio transcription. - Provide support to one or more solicitors. - Answering telephone calls in a professional manner. - Dealing efficiently with telephone calls & enquiries. Skills experience and qualities - Excellent secretarial and organisational skills. - Experience in a legal environment is essential. - A sound knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Access. - A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Discretion, for dealing with confidential information. - A polite, helpful manner. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with an hour for lunch. Competitive salary and company healthcare scheme available.
