Research Associate (Biomedical Scientist) - Newcastle, North
This is an excellent opportunity to act as a key member of a team, with the purpose of generating novel, in vitro diagnostic assays, for use on automated staining instruments and for cancer diagnosis.
A degree in a relevant biological science is required along with excellent organisation and communication skills (verbal/written). You will also need a proven understanding of histopathology and immunohistochemistry principles. Cell culturing experience with good aseptic techniques is required as is an understanding of hybridoma development.
Research report writing skills are necessary, as is the ability to undertake research with minimal supervision.
